We expect our students to demonstrate excellent attendance. Please make every effort to have your child attend class on time. Consistent attendance could only benefit students in order to excel. Students are expected to come to class on time with the proper attire. Parents will NOT be allowed to walk their children to class or speak with teachers once class has started.
Students can make up classes within 30 days from the day class was missed. No refunds will be given for any missed classes. Classes that fall on Holidays and/or Holiday weekends will not be made up.
Arrival/ Dismissal Procedure:
Students may be dropped off no more than 10 minutes before their scheduled class. EAA is not responsible for students while they are not in class.
Parents should arrive promptly at the end of students’ class. For the students’ safety, we encourage parents to come inside the academy for student pick-up. Students are not allowed to leave the academy without a parent or legal guardian.
All students will be placed in a class according to his/ her age, ability, and experience. Students with disabilities will be placed according to age and specific needs.
EAA has a mandatory dress code for every class to encourage discipline and build good habits. All students must wear school’s uniform daily. Students who are not properly dressed will not be allowed to enter class. Uniform is available for purchase at the academy.
FOR STUDENTS’ SAFETY, NO JEWELRY WORN AT ANY TIME. CELL PHONES ARE NOT PERMITTED IN CLASS. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!.
Tuition & Fees:
Payment of the first month’s tuition will be collected at the time of enrollment. Tuition is based on the entire academic year starting August 2012 through June 2013. Payments must be made 15 days before the first of the month. A $15 late fee will be automatically added to your account if payments are not submitted on time. NO EXCEPTIONS! All payments must be paid on time and in full regardless of student’s attendance including the months of December and June. If a student misses a payment, he/ she will not be allowed to participate in class. There will be a $25 fee for all returned checks.
Registration fees are non-refundable. Costume fees will not be refunded after the due date even if a student withdraws from the studio. If a class is cancelled, a refund of all unused classes will be issued.
School Year Calendar:
School calendar will run from August 18, 2012 to June 22, 2013. EAA will only close on Thanksgiving break, Winter break (followed by Miami Dade County Public Schools), Labor Day, Good Friday Weekend, and Memorial Day Weekend.
In case of severe weather, EAA will follow the Dade County Public School System recommendations for cancellation. We will post information on our website and on the studio’s phone voice mail.

Parents, legal guardians, and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on studio property resulting from normal activity conducted by the students before, during and after class time or events.
Photo & Video Release:
EAA has the right to take photographs & videos of students. Pictures & videos may be used in brochures, the studio’s website, posters, advertisements, or other materials the studio creates.
